Ed002 any truth that bvb are interested in hudson odoi to replace sancho and could there be a move where sancho joins us and hudson odoi goes there thanks.

{Ed002's Note - Callum Hudson-Odoi (RW/LW) Chelsea are more than happy to move him on but the interest of Spurs, RBS, PSG and Bayern Munich has gone. Borussia Dortmund asked Chelsea about his availability last summer - but they did that as he was on a very long-list of potential Jadon Sancho replacements.}

Ed002 curious why club are happy to get rid, is it attitude? Or don't believe he's good enough or something else?

{Ed002's Note - It is unimportant.}

Fair enough, just hoping we get sancho in this window, none of our wingers has convinced and he would be perfect.

Agree. Sancho seems to have end product, but so did werner so German defences aren’t the best.

A move to Dortmund will help CHO so much- perhaps it could be that required spring board to unlocking his full potential.
If the whirlwind takes him (CHO) by chance to Dortmund, I would expect Chelsea to attach a first option clause to his deal (on the eventuality he desires an EPL return in the future) .

{Ed002's Note - Nonsense.}

Obbina, maybe it’s not a case of talent it’s attitude. I remember reading about ravel morrison who sir Alex said was better than Rooney in training and youth games but never had the desire or attitude to progress, who knows,

Rio Ferdinand recently talked about nearly signing for Chelsea, before he signed for Leeds. But he decided he needed to get away from London, where he was easily distracted by friend groups. Maybe CHO is in a similar situation, needs to go somewhere else and focus in his career.

Ross Barkley was same I think getting away from his friends in Merseyside, didn’t turn out so well,

No, but I think Ross Barkley's friends in Merseyside are doing much better now.

Callum has been more than fine for us. Whenever given a chance he's largely performed for us. In terms of influence in attack he's been better than Ziyech, Pulisic and maybe also Havertz this season.

He's probably our most creative attacker, but for some reason Tuchel has decided neither he nor Abraham should play. It's a big shame because the academy keeps producing wonderful players - like Callum and Abraham - and the first team coach often doesn't give them a chance. Big money players get lots of chances to play themselves into form, even when playing badly and making mistakes. Academy players sadly are not given that same luxury.

I'll miss both of them when they're inevitably sold. But a part of me will be thrilled to finally see them get game time and perform to the level that I know they're capable of showing. They deserve better than glued to the bench, or in Tammy's case, glued to the stands.

Matt, talking in line with your comment: many a time, there’s a level of hustle (call it desire to ‘metamorphosize’) that comes out of a man when he’s away from home or outside his ‘comfort zone’: that hustle brings many to their Eldorado.

Yes, it's a problem Jackson re Academy players. What I think we all had hoped would change when FL appointed as this seemed as though it signalled a longer term outlook re rebuild by club that would allow more Academy players time to establish themselves. To be fair, Mount and James did of course, but had thought CHO and Tammy would be part of the success and rebuilding story. But perhaps we will be buying one or both back one day like it seems we might be about to do with Lukaku and did with Matic! But the pressure to really impress in every performance is huge with the young players today.
