Really think this team is only desperately lacking a goal scoring winger and maybe a new LB to replace Alonso next season. Alonso and Willian have done better but they're not the answers and Emerson seems injury prone. If Alex Telles is available at £40 million euros we should get him. None of this £70 million pounds for Chilwell. We only need to spend for world class talent now not decent players.

If you had a choice to splurge on one superstar who would you pick for the right wing, Sancho or Mbappe?

Totally agree TomB, we need to let these young players develop. Why buy another wide player/ winger when we have potentially world class players in the making like CHO and Pulisic and top players like Willian pushing them plus Mount who can also play wide. As ED01 said recently we have all the ingredients for a great squad. I remember people wanting Pepe last Season! let's enjoy what we have.

Mounts doing well but his not a winger, Barkley leaving frees up a midfield spot and Mount should concentrate on that, sancho is a brilliant young HG winger, Pedro and Willian will be leaving I imagine end of season, so wingers would be CHO pulisic, so I’d say a creative winger would be high on the list, along with possibly a LB and striker, Haland has burst in the scene and read comparisons with lewandowski and dzeko but with more pace, can’t say I’ve seen him Personally,

Obviously I’m not fan of Sancho, so that for me is a non starter.

Also and I’ve said this many times, I do not believe we will sign (if we are allowed) ANY players in this January window. I also think we will only sign players next summer if players leave.

My guess is either Pedro, Willian or both could leave in that window, so we may well sign a player as a replacement.

I liked the look of the Ajax winger last season but I’m not sure how he is performing this season.

I have also only seen a limited amount of our youngster Lampty, he looks useful and quick but maybe a bit lightweight.

I’m happy enough with Alonso and Emerson as our left backs.

I wouldn’t mind for this to be Pedro’s last season with the club. He’s been a tremendous purchase for us but he’s lost the half step that allows him space to make things happen. Over the next year, I imagine pulisic will get phased in with willian correspondingly getting phased out. I wouldn’t mind the club bringing in a winger with a great deal of pace in an attempt to run at teams later once the defense has tired and begins to open up.
