Hi Ed :) best wishes for the new year. Hopefully it treats you kindly!
Got a question related to transfers. But not so much incoming transfers, but more with regards to players perhaps being loaned in January now.
The youth team are out of the UEFA Youth League, and the first team is out of the Capital One Cup. So far we've kept some very promising youngsters on the fringes of the first team, e. g. Gilmour, Anjorin, Guehi. Would you perhaps know whether Chelsea are looking to loan some of those youngsters out to gain some experience in adult football. The ones I mentioned are clearly very highly rated and talented, but it's hard to see them getting many minutes in the first team at Chelsea. So perhaps a loan for one or some would be something to look at for the club?
No worries if you don't have the time or just haven't heard anything. Was simply curious :)
Hope you have a good one!
{Ed002's Note - I am not sure that the club have plans to offer any of these players for loan, but there are offers on the table to buy Guehi.}

Hmm I hope we don't sell Guehi just yet. He looks like he has the lot to become a very good defender.
Just out of interest, are the clubs that want to buy him in Premier League as well?
{Ed002's Note - SOuthampton as a replacement for Vestergaard is one.}

Wow, that would be a good move. Hassenhuttl seems like a terrific coach, and I just like Southampton as a club. They've got a pretty good squad and are now performing like I thought they could.
Now if only they'd be willing to take him on loan instead of buying, that could benefit all parties. A loan for a year and a half instead of just the 2nd half of this season would give them more incentive to play him then.
