Far from convincing but the 3 points are all that mattered and they're in the bag. And in the grand scheme of things performances really don't mean to much for these final few games, we just need to the results and tonight we got what we needed.

Strangely I would play James, CHO, RLC and Mount against Utd.

TomB, pretty much agree. I'd like to see the youngsters play against United, It's a free hit one off game.

Would you guys like to see Giroud start or Sunday or not though? Because I'd save him for the league, he's become vital for us. I wouldn't want to go into the final two league games without Giroud up front.

Yes Tomb I would also play those 4 in the Cup especially to give CHO and RLC chance to shine. Do think RLC beginning to get confidence back and James a bit sharper tonight.

Should Giroud play against Utd is a difficult one.

For me he can’t play agains Liverpool. If he does the two Liverpool centre backs will push up to the halfway line because they can give Giroud a fifteen yard start and still beat him to the ball.

So he should start against Utd and take advantage of crosses from James. Pusilic and CHO.

Yes probably good to give Tammy another start on Sunday for reason you give Bobby and to try and get Tammy going again if possible.

I would play Tammy against Liverpool rather than Utd but on reflection maybe Pusilic as a false 9 might be better.

Interestingly enough, we may not need to kick a ball again to get Champions League qualification. Should Leicester lose to Sheffield and Spurs before our game vs Liverpool then its done. Likewise Should Man Utd lose their games then we get the same outcome.

Interesting enough should things not go our way then we could find ourselves 2 points behind both teams before we play Liverpool. Should we lose to Liverpool then UCL qualification is no longer in our hands. Last game draw between Utd Vs Leicester will guarantee 5th for us. Small margins.

The one thing I will say is Giroud is invaluable at holding the ball up and providing a focal point for our attack. Abraham desperately needs to work on his ability to retain the ball when outnumbered by defenders and allowing the team to progress up the field. While Liverpool’s backline could easily handle giroud’s lack of pace, I fear that their defense would handle Tammy like a rag doll and we’d be replicating the Nou Camp performance of 2012.

I honestly have no idea what you guys are talking about with Tammy starting over Big Oli. He’s been fantastic for us every single time we’ve played Liverpool and has been a huge physical presence. IMO he’s actually the first player I’d select for that game!

Even if Leicester lose there next 2 games. We may still need a point. Wolves and Sheff Utd are still in it. If that's the case we need 1pt from our remaining games.
