Had time to chill and calm down after yesterday. That game coupled with my first day in the boozer since lockdown.

We started well, in fact we could of put the game to bed in the first 30mins. Then we got sloppy, lazy and predictable, which continued for the rest of the game.

Congrats to Arsenal, maybe just deserved based on stats.

Now for the rant. 1) Never seen so much diving about and going down at the slightest touch. Cabellos and Xhaka should be ashamed for their antics.
2) Penalty, yes he pulled him back, outside the area though. Auba was fine until he got in the box and then threw himself to the floor. I think it was harsh and probably only a free kick.
3) Red card, neither were yellows. First one Kova went in for a challenge Xhaka went in studs showing and stamping down. 2nd one was one of the worst decisions I've seen. Xhaka again the aggressor and then went for an Oscar winning performance. Disgraceful trying to get people off.
4)Arteta, big fan, great player and seems like he'll be a good manager. But trying to get Azpi sent off is disgusting!
5) Seen the replays and Martinez has one hand on the ball outside the area. Red card and free kick to us.

I'm not saying we should of won but I'm saying the whole game went away from us due to the performance of simulation, Mr Taylor and VAR.

{Ed047's Note - and of course Chelsea have never been guilty of any of that.

You just sound bitter Dan and that’s never good.

Like I said, I didn't say we should of or deserved to win. Realistically do you think without the decisions you would of won the game? Perhaps on pens you might of.

Let's face facts, you scored a lovely goal but only one in open play against a below par Chelsea.

I don't think feeling a little bitter after the mess the ref/ vat caused us.

I don’t think it’s being bitter ED,

Arsenal worthy winners in the end, and that’s ok. but in a game of such magnitude you would expect the referee to make the right decision! He made the wrong decision on at least 7/ 8 occasions yesterday and all in arsenals favour.

Couple that with having the use of VAR at he’s disposal? It begs the question of what’s the point it being there. He booked Kovacic without reviewing the incident therefore VAR cannot intervene.

Pedro humped from behind like a jack russell on the edge of the box in the dying moments was the clearest foul in the entire game yet he let the game play on.

Very frustrating for us Chelsea fans as I’m sure the majority of Arsenal fans would feel the same. We’ve had our share of good luck and the odd dodgy decision but yesterday was a farce and Anthony Taylor should be ashamed.

{Ed047's Note - look I understand the ref was poor and could see it myself but that doesn’t detract from being bitter about it.

Which to a degree is hard not to be under the circs so I understand that.

Dan not one angle shows the keeper handling the ball outside the box, the bbc Video cleared that argument up. You really are embarrassing yourself by saying that.
Giroud tried to get Luiz sent off with his delayed fall, funny how you didn’t mention that 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣.

Dan, you forgot how Giroud when down on Luiz challenge, very delayed and like a sniper shot him trying to get Luiz booked or sent off. Azpilicueta could of been sent off for pulling back Aubameyang as he was through on goal and last defender funny how you left that out.
When we played you in December Jorginho got away with a blatant second yellow for pulling back a player and he then scored, did you also complain about the ref then Dan.
