Will be very sad to see Willian on an Arsenal shirt. He is still a great player.

He’s a good player but if they want to give him a three year deal that’s their problem. More often than not he goes missing and the older he gets the more pace and energy he’ll lose which is a massive part of him game. He’s never scored enough goals and someone else taking up that right wing is most definitely welcomed. As Shak said it’s time for a new era and with CHO and Pulisic along with new signings I think we’ve got a bright future.

Take your points CFCShak and Saim but he was v impressive in games after the restart. Perhaps I would feel better about his departure if he was not probably going to a rival - will be horrible to see him in an Arsenal shirt - and he will probably be at his brilliant best when playing us!

No he couldn't and would definitely not blame him for taking it if also gives him the extra year he wants and with him and family wanting to stay in London if possible it seems.

When Luiz left for arsenal, we didn't know it was because Lampard couldn't assure him of regular playing time. Could Willian's case be similar to that considering the incomings?
I will only miss his hardwork but we shall be even more potent when the new players settle in.
