Quick question-

Does anyone believe we can overturn this tie with Bayern? Do you think the team Frank selects will be our strongest? Do the team believe they can do it?

I was just thinking about how maybe the fact Bayern haven’t played for a little while now and might take their feet off the gas because of the lead they’ve got. It wouldn’t be the first time we shocked them in their stadium when no one thought we could.

Just a thought. I don’t know if we can do it and wouldn’t put money on it but we can dream.

I’d have more belief if we had a full squad available, but I’ll always support the 11 in blue, and anything can happen in football!

But to clarify, not giving us much of a chance at all!

Saim I think lamps will go for it. As to your question for strong team, I guess we have to make do with what we have. I believe we will give our best because that's what lamps would want. Don't know about the results but hell yeah it's football and we are known for punching above our weights when least expected! Let's hope this would be one another occassion where we do so👍.

Get the first goal and anything is possible. But with our troubles in defense, coupled with injuries to some key players, I think it's safe to say we won't be able to do it. No big shame though, Bayern are quite frankly the strongest team in Europe right now it seems.

I only hope we avoid more injuries.

I think if we had a fully fit squad with some form and with Bayern only playing a few friendlies in the build up, we may of had a chance, but we are a depleted squad. Be nice to win the game in Munich at least.

It's improbable that we'll turn this around. To be honest I just want to see players put in a positive performance, play for the badge - there's a couple that need to prove hey should still be in the squad next season. Also, could be a great experience for someone like Maatsen to showcase their talents.

I’m with Jackson here, we score the first goal and anything can happen. I think it’s going to be a high scoring game like the game at Liverpool .

Very unlikely of course. I always want us to win when am watching, but if thinking with my head not my heart we do not seem capable of overturning a 0-3 deficit let alone winning the ECL this season. Some of our best/ most experienced players in terms of European games are injured or leaving (Pedro, Willian? ) or not eligible (the new signings) and others very tired from hectic league schedule since restart plus FA Cup run. If we made it by some miracle past Bayern, the quarter finals, semis and final all have to be played before end of August and the next EPL seasons starts on 12 September.
So perhaps not the worst thing in the world to bow out at this stage, hopefully without more injuries and with some rest before EPL restarts and focus in bedding in new signings in training.

What I would do if Lamps on Saturday is give many of the players who have not had much game time of late - including CHO, Tammy, Kepa and Barkley, whether they are staying or leaving (can be a shop window opportunity for the ones leaving! ), and try if Frank to motivate them to do either their very best to impress me or to impress other clubs if leaving.

But, yes, my heart will always be wanting us to win and I will be supporting whoever is out there in Munich as passionately as ever.

I’m looking for a good team performance wihe watching certain players.

I assume CHO, James, RLC and Mount will all start and I will be looking at them in particular.

I would also like to see Tomori get some mins.

Yes, good point TomB, I should have listed Tomori as well. Would be good for Frank and all of us to see him against such opponents plus Reece too. Mount is young, so may still have plenty of energy and may need to play in absence of alternatives anyway.

I’m just going to enjoy the game. Very doubtful we’d be able to turn it round with a fully fit first 11 but we’ve been in worse positions. I think regardless of the outcome, the thing I hope for most is no injuries.
