Hi guys.
As I myself don't have much time to look at our youth teams, I was wondering - are there any players that you think are likely to be the next ones to play consistently for our first team?
I know of the players that are currently in our squad, but for instance players like that one guy, Dortmund are interested in - cannot remember his name right - must be good.
So in general, if any eds or just regular posters would like to say any players, that you think are likely to make the jump soon, I would love to hear that! :)

The player Dortmund are interested in is Charlie Webster. He has just turned 17 and apparently has some form of contract with us until 2023.

He looks like a special talent. Very quick and direct. Obviously young lads don’t always realise that talent but as things stand, I think we would be mad to let him go but I guess it could end up being out of our control.

I'm not sure if they may get a chance next season but there are a few youth players who may have the ability at some point in future to play for first team. Lewis bate, Valentino Livramento, Jude Soonsup-bell (still young tho) and Levi Colwill. Obviously there's always a chance they may not make it and there are a few others you could mention too like mceahran and fiabema.

If it meant getting haaland give them the whole youth team wouldn't bother me.

Haaland would be my second choice (sorry Ed001). For his age he looks like a proper beast and with a good first touch.

I guess the only problem I might have would be a concern about his progress. He is also very young and might not progress as expected. This is just one of the issues any buying club would have. Will clubs be prepared to take these risks for the fee being mentioned.

Generally, as fans, we don’t care about the fee.

I would definitely try to keep CW and many of the youngsters mentioned by Mc93 but as I’ve already mentioned these things are not always in our control.

We certainly have a record of not keeping unhappy players.

In all fairness Tom how much more do you want him to progress even if he stays has he is right now the guy is deadly he has a fierce shot and he isn’t afraid to have a go he makes the right runs his decision making is impeccable if he improves any more he will be among the top 5 players in world football for me he is by far the best option we could get him has he is now would gurantee you 20+ goals a season he also performs in Europe and internationally for a team that isn’t all that he still finds the net I honestly believe he would suit us down to the ground but I don’t see it happening.

If we sign him I want him to carry on improving.

If he signs for any other team I hope he stagnates and we never see him again.

As I always say Lampsy. I am naturally biased.
