The hate and negativity on here is why I don't post much nowadays. Some of the comments about the players, management, scouts, recruitment team etal are terrible. We got top 4, TT delivered. The squad is young, the players brought in are adapting, the coach is still learning about his team, we are in the final of the greatest competition available at club level. Enjoy it. We are on the up again and with 1 or 2 new recruits plus the on going development of the squad and we challenge for the title next season. We can win the trophy with the big ears as well so please enjoy the moment, get behind the club, stop the toxic comments, be positive and look forward to next week and beyond. Thanks EDS for all your input this season with special mentions to ED01, ED02 and ED18.

Good post mate, I agree. I don't think the fans are on the same wavelength anymore hence the internal affairs haha 😆😅.

If must be me but I haven’t noticed an abundance of negative comments about this season’s achievements.

I think it’s understandable that posters react to today’s performance and how often it’s been the same old story.

Well said, G8.

Well said and you are right that it's a constant stream of negativity if we dare to lose with certain players being targetted however they may have performed.

To make it worse very few people challenge these comments.
Then people are, surprised that Ed002 isn't inclined to post much info about transfers.

I disagree Strasbourg, I think plenty of people have challenged posters who have made sick comments about players and manager’s.

Thankfully I don’t see all the posts that the Eds have to put up with.

We have some posters who only come onto the site when we lose but that’s ok with me. I like the debate I like constructive criticism and most importantly I like to consider other peoples views.

Constructive criticism are you having a laugh?
What is constructive about criticising Jorghino after every poor performance the team has or any other whipping boy for that matter?

I don't think i've read much if anything that is hateful on here today either.

Saying we didn't play very well today and again that our attackers missed chances is just true. As was fact that we made top 4 cos were Baled out by Spurs.

My main feeling after games were over was telief. but am delighted we have got top 4 again.

If we win CL it will turn an up and down season into a truly memorable one.

I think we would have all taken top 4 a few months ago and I don’t think anyone would have predicted woe would be in the CL final. TT has met his target and done a good job coming into a new league in mid-season. Although I will be disappointed if we ended up losing two finals.
As to next season it will be interesting to see the ins and outs but I am not sure how much influence TT will have. Frank got Chilwell but was not backed for Rice although I doubt whether West Ham would have sold him to us. You will have noticed that Brighton and I have had a spat about Azpi but he is right about not getting into the habit of thinking coming 4th is an achievement like me Arsenal otherwise you end up 8th. Leaving aside City, next season I think Man U and Liverpool will improve so we must move up to a higher level.

Strasbourg, I think you will find that I have been one of Jorginho’s biggest supporters over the last few seasons and I’ve been happy to take the pelters from some posters for being a fan of his.

That said, when he or any other player has a poor game, fans are entitled to be critical. It’s when it’s not constructive it becomes a problem.

The Jorginho criticism is nothing compared to the Mount criticism earlier in the season and the vast majority of posters called that sick criticism out for what it was.

I criticised Conte but I didn’t want him to leave and it was the same with Sarri and Lamps. I will also be critical of TT when I think he deserves it.

Constructive criticism is providing feedback in a manner that acknowledges both the positives and where there is room for improvement instead of solely focusing on the negatives. The focus of providing constructive criticism is offering useful advice that can be implemented for better results.

Sounds reasonable Strasbourg.

I have said many times Jorginho has the ability to dictate a game, he collects the ball in tight spaces and moves the ball on effectively but he is not quick and if he gets turned he is not athletic enough to recover. I also think he shines best in European games but I’m not sure the final will be like any normal European game.

When he has a poor game it’s reasonable for posters to say he has had poor game. If we didn’t it would be a very boring Banter site.

Bye the way, the same applies to any player or the manager.
