I'd like to commend Andreas Christensen on the best game of football I've ever witnessed him play yesterday. Brentford put more pressure on opposing defenses than all but a handful of teams in the league (especially physically) . He was tasked with organizing a backline of two other incredibly inexperienced defenders on the road with us absolutely pinned in our third for the final 20 minutes and he helped us keep the clean sheet (albeit with Mendy in unplayable form) . This kind of performance gives merit to the notion that Silva can be moved on and our defense won't fall apart.

Tk, he is fast becoming irreplaceable. Top class player and the sooner he signs a new contract the better.

I have always thought highly of Christensen, if I had to choose between him and Rudiger, I would go for Andreas. Tk not sure what you mean by moving Silva on he is likely to leave in the summer; he has been great for us.

I hope TS stays and becomes backroom staff coach type role. He's so important in and around the camp.

Wheely that would be good but I have a feeling he will go home to Brazil.

I meant TS moving on as in his contract expires in the summer in addition to the expiring contracts of CA, AC, and TR. I think it’s fairly obvious to extend AC and TR assuming their demands aren’t exorbitant. TS has been an absolute monster in the games he’s played this year and iI can’t believe I’m saying it but I’d be more inclined to extend him than Dave at the present moment. At some point the club has to create space for the likes of Trevoh Chalobah and Levi Colwill.

Been down in Tenerife but kinda had one eye on the debates going on in the forum, some really good stuff. Also managed to nick down Saturday and catch the Brentford game. So forgive me if the discussion threads have burnt out a little and I am late to the party.
Mendy? Quite excellent and getting better imo. I don’t think the board or coaching staff will be looking to part with the thick end of £100m to replace him. Not fussed around his not being short listed.
Rudiger? Sorry guys but I think Tony is working his ticket and is ready for a move.
Christiansen. I’m liking him more than ever. I think he will stay. My boy raves about him and says if he was playing for say Munich he would be regarded much higher across Europe. Chelsea have got to keep him surely?
Saturday? I disagree with some of the stuff around Chelsea not moving the ball quick enough, I thot they were a great watch, incisive and played forward, Werner causes all sorts of problems but he can’t finish and really he should have scored. (I remember Chelsea beat WHU 3-0 and never played half as well as they did Saturday. So, got to mention Brentford, they were absolutely terrific.
Finally RLC. Love, love, love this player. Everything crossed he keeps fit and can do his stuff for 90 minutes, he tired badly at the weekend, but some of that was down to Brentford, they really were busy bees.
Top of the league? Deservedly imo. No biase whatsoever.

Yes Stephen we were ok for the first 60 mins without creating lots of chances and then our midfield got bypassed.

I’m very pleased that RLC is getting game time and he certainly is beginning to look like the player he was before his injury.

Werner is playing much better than last season and on occasion his first touch has been on as well. Sometimes his decision making isn’t great but I still think he lacks a bit of confidence and his playing relationship with Lukaku is only just starting.

Did you just really said that you wouldn't want Cesar to signs another contract?

One (if not) of the most consistent player of the Premier league for last decade? I truly believe some fans don't appreciate our current captain enough.
