Some really big battles all over the pitch at the moment.

A three way battle for the RCB and RWB, between Azpilicueta, Chalobah and James. I can't see Tuchel leaving Azpilicueta out of the big matches and James has slightly more experience than Chalobah. But, Chalobah has barely put a foot wrong when playing.

Christensen and Silva both continue to both perform well in the middle of the defence. To be fair this has more of a passing of the torch, than battle, feel to it.

All of a sudden Jorginho's place is under real threat from Loftus-Cheek - who looks amazing in the deeper midfield role. With an apparent desire to play two up top, this leaves Mount and Kovacic fighting it out for the other midfield role alongside one of Jorginho or RLC and Kante.

Werner and Havertz are both competing to support Lukaku, whilst Pulisic, Ziyech and Hudson-Odoi are fighting it out in the hope the system changes and an extra attacker is accommodated again.

Can't think of too many other teams in Europe that have this competition for places. It's both a gift and a curse, competition has often bred success, but so has consistency. Tuchel's job, for me, is to select a consistent lineup for the big matches - but keeping everyone happy will really test his managerial capabilities.

TT should enjoy the headache. His so called selection problems would be the envy of most managers!

Our depth is fantastic and the mood around our club is also very good.
My only concern is that we score very few goals and the attack looks really lackluster.

It's definitely the area where we need to click into more of an effective gear. TT said this week that he hasn't ruled out a more attacking formation - could we see a back four tonight?
