Usual overreaction on here but that appears to be the norm now.
Yes, we were beaten by the better team, yes, our forwards are misfiring, yes we are out of the title race.
Now put a bit of perspective on it please.
Our width and a lot of our creativity comes from our wing backs agreed?
It is no coincidence that our drop off in form started with Chilly getting injured and was compounded further with Reece James getting injured. C.V. and injuries to key players has hurt our squad a bit like it hurt scouse last season. It happens. That said, we are the Champions of Europe and I bet every Man City fan the world over would rather be 13 points behind us right now and be the current European Champions! We have already won the European Super Cup and are in the Carabao Cup Final, still going strong in both FA Cup and Champions league and currently occupy a top 4 slot.
Yes, the squad needs tweaking with ins and outs but TT has only been in the job for 12 months and has produced wonders. Big shout outs to all of you who are supportive of TT, I have a feeling he knows best?
Anyway, onto Brighton on Tuesday and hopefully 3 points.

TT is an impressive manager and I wouldn’t want him managing any other club but as supporters we are allowed constructive criticism.

He is an experienced manager and he knows if results (especially at Chelsea) aren’t good enough then you are likely to get the tin tac.

I would love him to be our manager for many
more years. If he is, it will mean we have been successful.

Really Good points, in reality we’re 4 games from having nothing but that’s the margins, let’s not get too excited about potentials and ifs and buts, two defenders our most creative, that’s our problem Bruce, if we’re conceding because two our best defenders out then it’s a problem with defenders being injured, we shouldn’t lost any attacking ability because DEFENDERS are injured, we have £300m of attacking players who can’t create / score, and this isn’t a “ oh we lost to city “ I said both times in the wins v spurs it’s a concern,

I don't think it's an overreaction. Our attacking play is brutal at times. How many of our attacking players can you say has been good or even decent consistently? Maybe only Mason Mount. Lukaku is meant to be an out ball but how many headers did he win today or how many times did he hold the ball up? This isn't just a reaction to today's performance, but for a second year running we're on course to have our top scorer being our holding midfielder that only scores penalties. Our Attacking players are doing nothing consistently at the moment. We need a massive shake up in that department and tbh right now the only one I would be too bothered about losing is Mount, possibly Kai Havertz as I feel he has so much more to give. But players like Pulisic, Ziyech, Werner and CHO have had too many chances for me.

I certainly hope so Tom, its just very frustrating having so many players with so much potential to be an attacking force but very rarely does any of them beat a man or make that killer pass. What I'd give to have the old hazard back that could create something out of nothing ?.

Craigd, fair points it’s very frustrating tbh we’re not a very good watch if you are a neutral. The continuous rotation of the front three isn’t helping. Still a lot to play for. I would settle for top four and WCC this season.

100% Jimbo. I am looking forward to the WCC and hoping for a better showing than the last time. I do think we will get top 4 though and if we get James and Chilwell back and keep them fit I hope we can challenge for 2nd.

Oh yeah that's true, I'd forgotten about that Tom. I am sure something will be sorted in January in regards to cover/ replacement for Alonso and we will be fine. ?.
