I think saying he's better than Chilwell is an overstatement, at least when Chilwell was at his best. Nevertheless, Cucurella is also a really gifted player, and I'm especially looking forward to potentially watching him play left CB in a back three. I didn't realize he played that position, but saw some videos of him, in which he sure looked good - including against us. Exciting times!

I don’t recall him playing on the left in a three but I’m happy to take your word for it Emil.

Looked a very good player when I saw him play LWB and I’m more than happy to have him in our squad.

As far as I’m concerned we have only signed players so far that have upgraded our squad. Long may it continue.

I saw a video where he'd played it against us, and won an aerial duel vs good old Rom. Don't know how impressive that specific point us, but nevertheless he seemed to have a great game vs us as LCB! :)
