Did Chelsea win yesterday? at our bogey ground? The first win there following 4 straight defeats?
Thought so.

{Ed018's Note - exactly.}

G8, did you watch the game?

{Ed018's Note - give it another week before we start knit picking. I know there are some issues that need sorted but let’s see what happens. I’ll take those 3 points and move on}

Results first and last couple week are what’s important. I’d say there’s 34 games in between were performed should improve, that said the performance wasn’t great but it was a win at a ground we drop points too, they must improve but it’s points on the board,

FFS IM SOUNDING LIKE G8 lol.

Ed from what I've seen we have a lot of work to do and by what I have seen from TT, he won't change much. So I expect the same passing and position game like we have seen the past season and half. I'd be very surprised if we change the way we play significantly.
But yes, 3 points is always good no matter how you get it. Especially at the start of the season.

Three points was the most important thing but it wasn’t pretty and it hasn’t been easy on the eye for months.

I know it’s work in progress for some players but as my mates said after the game yesterday “the game against the spuds is important, it will be about the performance as much as the result”.

These are away season ticket holders, hardened fans who have seen it all. They are fed up at watching “boring” football.

I pointed out that time was needed for new players and owners to settle in but that isn’t there argument. It’s about our style of play!

We were that awful that we won the match.

Ed018, you’re right too early for nit picking but what worries me is that we are the same as the latter part of last season. TT gives the impression that it’s nothing to do with him and it’s all down to the players. Okay regardless of what happens in the Spurs game, the next five fixtures after are:Leeds, Leicester, Southampton, West Ham and Fulham. All games we should win. So even if we lose to Spurs we should have 18 out of 21 points. There’s positive for you!

Yes we were that awful but yes we won the match and that’s what really matters.
