Zaha looks the perfect choice to me if we are going to go back for Nkunku next year zaha is versatile knows the league and has 1 year left on his contract. chelsea looking at him ed?

Zaha is just another wide player: wouldn’t improve us or solve the goal scoring problem.

Agree with you Jimbo. What we need is a confident, consistent, physically strong but mobile - ie far more so than Lukaku who never looked in proper fit shape to me -striker. Haaland would have done nicely. In his absence we either have to hope that Broja comes through and/ or (ideally we should have two at the club though Kai can be seen as cover he is surely a number 10 or 8?) need to be patient until the right one can be brought in. Like you I've not got much hope that we can win the EPL this season, so we mustn't panic buy. My priorities would be a striker, DM who can so defense splittiong passes (! ), and surely in time too a truly top class goalie. Perhaps the young Slonina will turn out to be this. Can only hope. And perhaps that we can somehow nick a cup trophy win, without having to go to penalties.

Zaha is not a right choice for short term or long term. Too much flashy stuff without substance.

Bowen would be a great buy on the right.

JBS, Slonina might be the answer although he is very young although Donnarumma was playing for AC Milan when he was 16.
