I know Matt, far to much. There are add ons!

I think he played in about 80 ish games for us, some as sub and I think his goalscoring ratio is about one in every four games.

It could be he will find his form again in Germany and under another coach. Good luck to the lad.

That’s terrible money for a German international who’s work rate and record in Germany is really good,

Dread to think what we’ll get for hudson odoi then, his goal scoring record is less than 37yr old cb Tiago silva who’s only been at chelsea two years, suppose he has age on his side,

As you know I have always stuck up for Timo but I accept it hasn’t worked out and I wish him well. I still think things might have been different if he had a run of games and and the coaches had shown more faith in him but that is water under the bridge. The club have made mistakes in transfers but I don’t think we were wrong to sign him: all the indications were that he would be a success and a lot of other clubs wanted him.

On a separate issue what I am about to say will no doubt be slated by some of you. I can’t wait until TT leaves the club. I think his behaviour and attitude is a disruptive and negative. Strangely he seems to be drawn to players with similar issues: Aubameyang who Arsenal couldn’t wait to get out of the club and apparently was in contact with Rabiot whose contract was about to be terminated at Juve for being a pain in the behind. On the coaching side; no coherent vision of a style of play or adaptability of formation or tactics and coming out with more excuses that Klopp. As a life long Chelsea supporter I hope TT is successful this season but I suspect it won’t be to long before he pi**es off too many people. If RA was still around he would have sacked in pre-season for his sulky negative comments. I’ll put my tin hat on.

I reckon that he will be happier back there and this could well restore his confidence and goalscoring. Not great to see him losing both after fairly bright start with us. But he had some good moments not least running his socks off in so many games that helped create space for others eg ECL final v City when Kai scored the winner.

Did you watch Werner play for us Matt? That's as much we could get for him. Good luck to him.

Jimbo, you said what I wanted to say a few days ago. There is no one good available at the moment but the sooner we fire him, the better. He will get another season and in my opinion is very lucky that the old regime isn't around.
When we fires Frank that it wasn't the right decision but hiring TT was even worse. We got a CL out of it but bigger issues emerged that are not so easy to solve.

Jimbo, I’m not sure why you feel you should put a tin hat on for expressing your views on TT in a reasonable way. You have not made any personal comments about the man unlike some when they were demanding Lamps be sacked.

I did post about a conversation I had with away season ticket holder mates after the Everton game and as I said “the natives are getting restless” and there moans about the style of play echoed my comments about our play not being easy on the eye.

I wanted Lamps to remain as our manager to see through what I thought was a project, the same now applies to TT.

I think it was Ed who recently touched on some of our historic problems caused in part by constantly changing manager and therefore team shape and playing style and players.

We now have new owners and I assume a new BP. I hope TT is the right man to bring us continuing success but I can tell you one thing about successful business men, they will change the manager before they change their BP.

My guess is he will be given time but I’m sure our new owners know that football isn’t just about results it’s also about entertainment. They will also want to protect the clubs global brand.

When this team is in the image of TT that for me will be the time to judge him. We are at long last selling some players who have consistently given poor performances and we are in my opinion making some signings that are upgrades.

The new owners have also invested in young players for the future, I think we have signed about five players all under the age of 20. They are also supporting EH in signing several players.

I will judge our new owners in the years to come on several fronts but at the moment I have zero criticism and I think our future looks bright. If TT stays that’s good news because it means the club will have continued with success but these are serious business men and women who have a history of being winners, they will have no hesitation in sacking anyone who gets in the way of achieving their goals.
