As you all know I like dropping into other team sites from time to time.

Two things, I think the Everton page is always a good read from what seems a reasonable set of posters.

Also, what happened to the spuds site? They seemed to have disappeared before the season has started and that's even a bit quick for spurs!

{Ed014's Note - there was never that many on the Spurs site and it seemed to die a death after the Raver was banned after he made racist comments in the Arsenal live chat Tom.

Blimey, Raver was generally funny but racism can not be tolerated by anyone!

Strangely I thought it might have been that lunatic gooner who was always on the spuds site who might have frightened the spuds supporters away! He was probably intolerable last season!

Oddbod or whatever he calls himself was an absolute pain mate and that for sure didn’t help.

Oddbod, that was his name. Very strange poster who never seemed to appear on the club he said he supported site.

Anyway the way the Everton supporters have debated the Ali situation reads generally very well and is a credit to them.

While the debate about Greenwood on the Utd site hit some very low points.

Tom, like you I read other clubs sites, most posters are genuine football people and like us love their clubs. I agree about the Greenwood issue but most posters took the the issue of domestic abuse seriously. There was a weird post on the Liverpool site stating how great Liverpool fans are and castigating Chelsea fans about our reaction to Mount leaving. TBF Liverpool posters regarded it as a strange post and E001 reminded the poster how some Liverpool fans reacted when it was rumoured that Gerrard might join Chelsea. There was also a more worrying post regarding Mendy’s acquittal, at the end the poster made some extremely disparaging and misogynistic remarks about the complainants in the case. Clearly whoever it was has no knowledge of the criminal justice system or social issues regarding women’s safety.

Raver was such a nice bloke to me when my dad died shame he got banned as he was really funny racism no thanks
But that arsenal fan ud say stopped spurs fans going on it he was a royal pain in the hoop
I always wondered why he was allowed to post the stuff he did it ruined the spurs site I always used to pop over to it I don't anymore becolause of him.

Jimbo, I did read the Liverpool post slamming the Chelsea fans about MM and him leaving leaving. As you say he was corrected by other Liverpool fans and Ed001 did make a very good comparison.

The Mendy post you have mentioned sounds very sad. Even though he did go through a court process.

gola, I used to enjoy a bit of banter with The Raver but there is zero place o any forum for any form of racism.

I'm a Liverpool fan lads and those posters mentioned were heavily scrutinised by the regular posters - I too read a lot of the other pages

The Mount thing was just weird, some (like myself) like him and others didn't - he picked Utd and tbh the money it seems, but hey good luck to the lad. Chelsea offered a very good contract and he turned it down, Liverpool walked away from the fee and wages discussed - I agree with that but it seems Klopp tapped him up to begin with, which is so annoying he seemingly keeps doing this and nobody at the club sanctions him

The Mendy poster was wild - completely mysogynistic and was reprimanded by the regular posters - sadly, I have never seen his username before. All to sad that it seems some of the most ridiculous posts we see are by usernames we have never heard of before

Did not know that about Raver at all, always liked him as a poster but racism cannot and should not ever be tolerated.

Good luck too, you've done well in sales so far - definitely too big a squad and wages must be an issue as well but have done well so far with the outs

Real need for a striker I think and to integrate young Colwill who looks like he will be an absolute star - I really hope Klopp hasn't tapped him up, just read that in a couple of posts above this one - kid will be a cracker, Brighton really wanted him back too so i'm sure Chelsea fans would like to see him play and sign a new long-term deal.
