Six finals.

We have recently played Liverpool in three finals and in my opinion we haven't deserved to lose any of them but the history of a cup final is irrelevant. The only thing that matters is whose name is on the trophy.

Three Champions league finals. I think we were the better team in only one of those finals and that's the one we lost. It doesn't matter that it was on pens or that our skipper slipped when taking his penalty. It's only the name on the trophy that matters and that's also all that will be remembered.

We go again and I will hopefully see us pick up a few more trophies in the seasons to come.

You did not deserve to win last night's final. To think you consider yourselves unlucky is just ridiculous.

Endo,

We are unlucky, you have Klopp, we have Poch as coach.

Now if that is not unlucky to have a serial loser in charge, then I don't know what is.

TomB - I would say whoever won yesterday deserved to. It was a good game to watch, and in the end a great header from Van Dijk won it.

Both teams had a goal disallowed, and both hit the woodwork.

The standout for me was our £16m signing Endo who I thought was far calmer that Caicedo, who in my opinion, should have at least been booked.

Anyway, Chelsea do seem to be getting their act together at last, so I think you should see some improvement in your league position going forward.

At least all the posters on here who were saying that we were keeping injured players back for this final were wrong.

Good luck for the rest of the season, and look forward to playing Chelsea again next season.

KBL

Endo is a lot older and far more experienced than our midfield so it's not strange that he has a better game than our two bearing in mind it was a cup finals we'll.

The experience will come over time for our two midfielders.

Endo, I never said we were “unlucky” but in my opinion in all three finals against Liverpool we were the better side. My point is being the better side is meaningless if you don’t get the win.

KBL, I look forward to playing a Kloppless Liverpool next season. Hopefully in two domestic finals as well as the Premiership. I also think Caicedo should have got a yellow card but for me it was never a red card. If players are in or around your first team squad I assumed they would good enough. The same would apply to the, I think eight players under 22 in our squad.

kbl your £16m man schooled are £100m midfeilders. Quite embarrassing to say but endo has also been better all season.

Why is it “embarrassing to say? ” Players have good seasons and bad seasons. These things happen!

TomB - Chelsea certainly were not better than us yesterday. Yes they had spells in the game when they were, but so did we.

All the stats show that we had more shots, more shots on target, more touches in the opposition box, much higher passing accuracy etc.

Overall I would say the teams balanced each other over the 120 mins.

Also, the average age of both teams were the same.

I'm glad you enjoyed your grandson's birthday.

That’s your opinion but can I suggest you look at the stat that illustrates “clear chances. ”

In my opinion we were the better team over the 90 mins but we then went into some strange shell in extra time having finished normal time very strongly.

Yes, there wasn’t much in squad’s average ages but apparently we played against “kids”. I repeat if your in the squad it’s because your good enough and nothing to do with age.

My grandsons birthday was a delight and far more important than any football match.
