I've read differing reports as to why the transfer of SO is off. If it is for medical reasons, I feel very sorry for the lad but there have been examples of players overcoming medical adversity.

The reports of us now looking to sign Felix seem very strange.

As I've said before I'm happy to go with what we have. I like the look of what I'm seeing with MG. I assume there is still a chance we could sign Osimhen albeit a small chance.

TomB - I fully agree in regards to Felix.
To call it strange almost seems like an understatement, given that we just bought Neto. We quite simply don't seem to need a player of JF's type.

The whole ST recruitment is an absolute shambles.

While we mess around, ST'S are signing for other clubs.

Realistically, we now have two choices, sign Toney or keep Lukaku (God forbid) .

As for JF, what's the need to sign him unless it's for the CG deal to go through. Up until yesterday, JF was not even in our transfer equation.

I just don't understand our transfer decision making any more. This might be a future question on mastermind, 'do you not what the Chelsea recruitment team's transfer policy is relating to St's? '

Not upset that the SO is off sorry for the player but seems a risk Felix really good player but we have so many of that kind of player not needed at all unless Sterling goes

Can see the CG move to Athletico collapsing and CG ending up at Villa.

Seems,

I hope you are right as I don't really believe CG want to go to Madrid in the first place.

Bill, my guess is we had a list of striker targets and at this moment in time none of them are available. The SD’s can force clubs to sell players at a price Chelsea find agreeable.

Seymns, I can’t see the CG collapsing. It looks like all concerned have acted in good faith regarding the SO deal and I assume the same will happen with the CG transfer.

Felix deal only makes sense if we're planning to move on Sterling and one other.

I know the manager has said he wants a big squad due to Europe etc. but I think we're up to around 41 players now and rising.

I was really hoping the SO deal being off meant Oshimen was inbound.

I don’t want Felix, whether or not the Gallagher deal goes through we should steer clear of Athletico they are trying to unload their unwanted players on us.

Guys come on! Felix is exactly the player we need! Who else is going to threaten to do something and then lose the ball, misplace his pass or scuff his shot? Mudryk is far too clinical, we need someone that really offers nothing.

In all seriousness, this is just the price of doing business with Jorge Mendes to get Neto (another signing that doesn't really make sense imo) . Anyone who believes the deal for Omorodion fell through due to a failed medical, well, I have a seaside house to sell you in Austria.

I hope steering clear of clubs looking to “unload unwanted players” doesn’t become the norm because that’s exactly what I hope we will be doing over the next few weeks.

You seem to believe you can predict the future RBD, if that’s the case can you share this weeks Lotto numbers with the rest of us.
Your opinions (which you our obviously more than welcome to) are just opinions, not facts. You have no more insight or information of what’s going on behind closed doors at the club than of the rest of us.
Maybe hold back for a bit and wait until the transfer window has closed before reacting to every single click bait article you read in the paper or social media.

I suppose one positive is everyone at the club currently is in agreement over Felix. If you believe what Fab Romano says. Apparently, we would have signed him sooner but Poch wasn't a fan.

Hdkn, you are correct in your assessment. Non of us know what is going on behind the scenes.

We are all just guessing and then we all use that guess to satisfy our agenda.

Some more than others Tomb unfortunately.
I take little notice to what’s being posted on social media, I will always just wait for info from Ed or a club statement.
None of us no what’s truly going on, I’m just in it for the ride and will support my club no matter what happens over the next few weeks.

Hdkn, I 100% agree with your post.

I just treat this site as a bit of fun to be had with other CFC supporters. If I didn’t see it as fun then I would step back for a while.

I mainly look at Matt Law, Simon Johnson and Ben Jacobs plus this site for my Chelsea information. I would also add that WAGNH sometimes produce some good analysis articles.

Also, like you none of it makes any difference as I’m going to always renew my season ticket anyway despite all my moans to the club.

Tom, yes none of us know what is going on behind the scenes but, of course, we will eventually find out, especially as regards transfers. I see nothing problem about posters having opinions about rumours that are circulating. For what it’s worth, the Gallagher deal should stand or fall on its own merits: we shouldn’t have to sign one of their outcasts to made the deal happen. Felix would be a very strange signing, he’s not a CF or a winger; who is he going to replace:Palmer? I do feel sorry for Gallagher though.

Jimbo, who on earth would think there is something wrong with people having opinions or concerns about the football club they support on any subject not just transfers.

It’s my opinion that a significant percentage of media sites, pundits and so called experts are just guessing in the same way the vast majorities of supporters do. Of course there is nothing wrong with guessing. If it wasn’t for us all making guesses these sites would become very boring.

So far I have read four different reasons why the deal wasn’t completed with one view laying the blame firmly at the Chelsea door.

I have no idea if Gallagher will be playing AM next season as far as I’m concerned he is no longer a Chelsea player and like you I find the potential Felix signing strange. I also have no idea if the two transfers are dependent on one another but one transfer is often dependent on another so I guess they might be the case but nothing unusual in that as far as I can see.
