After reading the VVD conversation on the Liverpool page, I can't believe how They think they can do no wrong and they are entitled to ed002 giving them everything they ask. Also read quite a few comments of them telling ed002 to stick to facts and he's not entitled to give his opinion.
Ed002 doesn't have to do anything and does this voluntarily. After reading the comments from the Liverpool fans I just want to show my appreciation to ed002 as after having to deal with those naive fans you deserve a thanks.

I'm sure to a certain degree the whole "tapping up" is a regular occurrence to some degree or another but not on that blatant level. The Liverpool pages are a complete joke 90% of the time. I always go there for a good laugh when Iv got a spare 5mins or bored at work. Don't know how the eds have put up with it for so long.

Got to say after reading through all the replies on the Van Dijk Rumour in the Liverpool section i must heavily praise ed002's patience. It was a good laugh for me but dread to think how frustrating that must've been for you to deal with. For all of the negativity you have to read (admittedly from myself at times) it's fair to say we really appreciate the commitment you have to the site! .

i was actually reading the posts from the liverpool page and they're really deluded about the VVD situation. it's crazy how stupid some of the posters were.

It's quite amusing reading Liverpool supporters comments regarding tapping up and how quick they are to justify the clubs behaviour citing Ashley Cole to Chelsea, for which there is no defence.
However Liverpool have been accused or caught out quite a few times.
Anyone remember Ziege? Or what about Gareth Barry or how about Robbie Keane?
I am far from sure that we have heard the last of the Solanke to Liverpool saga as the timelines just don't fit.

So many people calling for Lampard to get the boot but all I see this as is disrespectful. Does no one think that someone that done so much for us as a player deserves more than 3 months after his first transfer window.
Keep positive and really think about if he really deserves to go 3 months into his second season. I will stand behind Lampard this season as he is only going to improve as a manager and I believe he deserves some time to get this team right.

I will stand behind him as well. However we do have reason to fear what's going on. We've consistently been beaten by almost every single "good" team that we've met. Not like either Ole or Arteta has more noticeably experience than Frank. Sure, both have had more transfer windows, but we bridged that gap this summer pretty much.
We need to see more against the better teams. I doesn't have to be pretty. We've got one of the fastest strikers in the league. Everyone knew Arsenal would have a high defensive line the other day with slow defenders. Arteta was consistently shouting "higher" to his players, even when ahead. There was SO much space to exploit if we wanted to play long balls with CHO, Pulisic and Werner up front. Frank chose to "cross and inshallah" without Giroud in the starting XI.
Right now what we need is cojones. Both from our players and from our manager.

I will support Lamps as our manager and will judge him on that basis rather than a playing legend.
One win in four games is cause for concern but I didn’t crow when we were winning and I won’t cry when we are losing!

I don’t disagree with either of you tim or Emil, just feel like how much he done for us as a player we deserve to give him more time as a manager. It hasn’t looked great recently but no team. I want him to at least get to finish this season. I have nothing but respect for frank. I’m thinking it’ll be a good result for us today with big Giroud getting a brace.

I agree BlueCon. We need to judge Frank on his current merits and the results that he brings. However, Chelsea as a club seem to finally be reaching a level of stability that was unheard of in this club 5 years ago. We didn't fire Conte during his rough patch around january or february. We didn't fire Sarri during his.
Patience can be good, but you can of course also be too patient. I don't think we've reached that level with Frank yet. But it's clear that if things don't improve - rather quickly - then we might get close to that point.

Couldn’t agree with you more dubliner, you read my mind entirely. He deserves time to get the team right. Think people need to have more respect for Lampard for what he has done for us and if everyone loved him so much you would think they would give him more of a chance than 18 months and half of this is during a a tough time for all the teams as results show for all teams.
