This sounds stupid, and I know everything is speculation right now, and the window is far away, but reports from multiple papers are that United are only looking for £20m to move Mata on in January.

Would you take him back for £20m?

Nope I wouldn't. I wish him all the best in his career, and I'd be glad if he didn't play for United anymore. But he got sold for a reason. We don't need him.

I agree with Jackson, furthermore I don't think he has been playing that well for United and with us buying Fábregas, I don't see why we would want him back.

Yeah, totally agree to be honest. If he does leave, I can see them using him in a deal for Pogba/Vidal anyway.

Have to agree with Jackson here as well, we can't deny that Mata was class while we had him but we let him go for good a good reason I wish him nothing but the best but I wouldn't want him back.

If the club in the next two windows go out and get Pogba and Varane and we keep hold of Oscar and Hazard we are going to have one hell of a team.

I wouldn't mind Mata at all :) best player for 2 seasons in a row. But even if everybody wished he would comeback it will never happen as Mourihno don't like him

Loved him, think his a special player but his attitude summed it up for me, few months out and ran for exit, no fight, azpilcueta was in same situation and won his place in the team, mata would have had huge season towards end with Oscar fading but he thought the grass was greener.

lads you need to keep in mind that then there was a year of world cup and how underperforming oscar was keeping him out of the squad and how mourihno was letting ramired play in top instead of mata. You can't say bad words about mata, mourihno didn't showed him love what else you expected of him? stay on the bench when you have done nothing wrong?

I loved mata, but have lost most of my respect for him and frankly have little sympathy for his current situation
A few months out and he couldn't even stay to compete? And don't give me the world cup nonsense he was never getting ahead of silva/ fabregas and never will, even he wanted to leave he could have stayed till the summer and I am sure valencia, juve, atletico etc would have come for him. To run away at the first time of trouble that too to manu was pathetic. Even players like jt, brana and drogba have had to prove and earn their place in the team and that is why they are legends. Mata can now jump to whichever ship he deems best, wouldn't care less.
