Read this as well. I'll be sad to see him go but I'd be happy not to see him at a rival club.

I'll be happy to see him go and sad not to see him not go to a rival club!

{Ed002's Note - John Obi Mikel may be available in the summer with interest from Al Ain and Monaco. The interest of Inter has moved on and I suspect that the interest of Napoli will left with Benitez. Real Madrid has spoken with his agent but not with Chelsea. Al Ain have made a very good offer to the player and I expect a move can be agreed with Chelsea.}

Mikel has agreed personal terms with Al Ain and it is now left for Chelsea and the Dubai club to agree on a transfer fee. He has returned to England to communicate all these to Chelsea. We just have to wait and see what Chelsea say in this regard. Says agent

Cheerio thanks for being loyal to chelsea for so long. But we can't have a such negative player in our team who to be honest plays one good game 4 terrible. He can't even tackle apart from in champions league final. Good to see us and chelsea moving forward and a better direction for actual football purposes. I'd rather Romeu played ahead of mikel.

I'll be very sad to see him leave. Ok maybe he isn't the most positive when it comes to going forward but he's always done a very capable job and never complained about playing time! Besides, if all the top managers that we've had at the club since Mikel arrived rate him then who are we to not? Few special moments from him for me, his goal against Fulham (celebrated madly with my brother who's am Arsenal fan purely because he NEVER scores) and that backheel against Everton! In addition to his top class performance on the 19th May 2012, the best day of my life. Thank you Mikel and if you're truly leaving I'll be sad to see you go!
