I'll take that defeat all day long if it means new players come in over the two weeks. Surely someone at the club can see we do not have enough in terms of a plan B. Big fan of ivanovic but let's give him some bench time and put Dave at RB, give Rahman( who I have not seen play) a go at LB. stop playing rami wide right as he offers nothing there. I don't see any balance to our team anymore and this is not something new, it's been like this for a while. Yes we won the league but struggled towards the end, luckily other teams had a lot of poor runs of results. I think it's time to go back to basics to get the team playing good football. Last season we won the league which was great but we never seemed to be able to put teams away, they we always in with a chance because we sit so deep. Football is evolving every year and Jose needs to have some different ideas. We are so predicable. The 4-2-3-1 does not suit our team. My thoughts on the team are we have two top quality keepers. Ivan needs taking out for a few games. Zouma needs more game time. Fabregas hasn't got the legs to play behind Costa so should be part of a 3 man midfield. Hazard looks like he can't be bothered and unfit. Matic goes missing from his position. Willian great dribbling but not enough goals in his game. It just looks as though all is not good behind the scenes at the moment. Doctors being made scapegoats for the first bad performance and JT today. I'm sorry but if you go into the game with jose's negative tactics then we got what we deserved today.

NWBLUE: A pretty honest assessment I would say. Two games is just that, two if it gets the wheels in motion to introduce changes whether another new face, introduction of a couple of the younger players or change of formation and tactics. What we are doing is not working. Two interesting players you highlight; Fabregas is too in and out for me wherever he has played and Hazard did not look as sharp as he could and almost disinterested at times. The shining light was Begovic.

agree with everything you've said I would like to add up front Costa is not 100% convincing with injury worries and also needs to know where the line is with the combative play don't get dragged in to chasing round the pitch looking for revenge and taking your eyes off the game The other two strikers for me compared to other league teams and more so European team are not good enough
