Ed001 in your opinion do we need a manager now or wait to end of season what do you think eould be best.

Ed what do you mean by rest of the set up sorted out surly a manager is the number one priority?

{Ed001's Note - yes but they aren't managers any more. This is a head coach we are talking about. The plan it seems to me is to build a Red Bull-type model. In which case the head coach is not that important, not as important as the set up around him.}

In your opinion Ed, who will you suggest as the head coach?

{Ed001's Note - it is very difficult to think of anyone suited right now, I mean you could pick someone but some moron player will be telling everyone he has never heard of him and cause problems. It looks like a name is needed to get the players in line and take control, rather than the best person for the job. But the sporting directors and technical director brought in all are set up for working with up and coming young coaches. So I wouldn't want to suggest anyone, as I don't think the set up is correct for anyone to actually succeed until the ownership step back. Boehly is clearly clueless and is making a mess of things. While he is so hands on, there is no one to suggest to be honest. There is no clear long term set up yet to see an ideal candidate or candidates.}

Wow, thanks Ed. Hopefully things get better this time around and we don't regret it.

{Ed001's Note - I think it will probably take a bit of time. There are too many settled teams playing at a high level for immediate success. It comes down to finding the right people to fit the club, it takes time to build that platform. Most teams, such as BHA and Brentford, had years out of the spotlight to build it. Man City took time to reach the top even with their spending. Liverpool had to stand by Klopp when he was getting slaughtered in the media. Chelsea are at the start of a new journey, patience is required now.}
