Kepa 'something was broken at chelsea' . Sure feels that way. In any sense. The player is out on loan only for 1m. So we did them a favour. Please be respectful.

Haven’t got a clue about any loan fee but I assume RM pay 100% of his wages.

He was happy to move in so I’m pleased he has got what he wants. I never understood why players feel the urge to talk about clubs they played for or are contracted to.

Anyway, I hope he has a brilliant season at RM.

The goalkeeping transfer record for your mediocrity,

Standard, you're posts are starting to sound like a broken record buddy.
Banter and discussion are one thing, but continual bagging/ slagging of the Eds, the owners, players, tactics, the coach etc by you and others that don't align with your own views is very sad, and quite honestly depressing.
Since the purchase a year and a bit ago the club/ new ownership have basically undertaken a 10 year squad rebuild in the space of 1 year (mostly in the last 2 windows) . Correct me if I'm wrong but I can only think of Chilly, Silva, James, Broja and Chalobah that remain in the playing squad pre BlueCo's purchase with most of the needed exits/ sales happening in the window that has just closed.
I'm confident that after time to gel the team will steadily climb up the ladder playing entertaining and exciting football, that to me would be a successful season. A European spot, or a cup win would be the icing on the cake if it happens.

Words of wisdom Pete

My view is roman was amazing for our club and were are were we are because of him BUT I feel the club had stagnated in every area in recent years yes we won the European Cup but in my eyes that was more fluky than the first one.
I feel that boehly and Co wouldn't have had to change literally everything if it was run properly in the first place
Onwards and upwards il be happy if we play exciting brand of football while we grow as a team
When was the last time we were truly entertained by our team I can't remember
So when I see all our transfers and young gifted players I am optimistic for the future.

Kiwi Pete goodness me if my post was 'slagging off' the team I'd hate for you to read the average post on any other site on here. I criticised kepa for speaking out against a club he's still employed by, how's that slagging off the club lmao.

And yes we've done a rebuild of our squad and generated incredible amounts of money so fair play to the owners. Its the absolutely awful scattergun approach and terrible seaming plan I have been criticising. It's not a 10 year rebuild, rebuilds take 2-3 years which it's going to take us anyway. The only difference is we've spent a billion pounds which should accelerate the rebuild drastically.

Call me negative mate and 'slagging off' of the team but I don't see what's wrong with criticising the owners 'plan'. We're the laughing stock of the league mate. I'm not going to blindly praise the owners just because I'm a chelsea fan. When I'm at a game and watching games I'll cheer the loudest but I'll also give my honest opinions on a forum after that. Isn't that what this page is for?

Standard, all you are doing is repeating cliche after cliche.

I have no problems with CONSTRUCTIVE criticism but it was you who referred to a player at a club you support as a DONKEY without any reasoning for that pathetic comment.

You have now stated as if it’s a FACT that we are “the laughing stock” of the league. I can only assume you agree with that comment.

I’m sure some of our signings will be duds and I’m sure there is some clever stat out there that says something like 28% of all signings are failures. Obviously every club in every league signs a failure from time to time but it’s as if we would be the only club ever to sign a dud and if we have, then the owners are solely to blame.

The “scatter gun” approach to signing players over tbeee windows has now given us players that will form the basis of our team for years to come. Why pick one or two players out for special crap comments?

As I’ve said before we are 4/ 5 games into a new season with a new manager and plenty of new players. Surely as we are going through a tough time this is the time to support the club.

Also, please don’t think players are unaware what is said about them on social media. Please read the response that TS gave after the weekend to a keyboard warrior!

This isn't the forum for being critical of the owners strategy it simply isn't allowed however justified it might be.
If you want to have an open frank discussion ironically the club chat room is much more tolerant of honest opinions even if they are critical of the club.
Best just to use this for transfer rumours in all honesty.

Standard. Of course you can take advice from the supportive poster who wanted his club to get beat so the manager would get sacked.

Criticism should always be welcome but at least try and be constructive and include some basis of fact rather than journalists repeats or fans with agendas.

Standard.

Why do you class the approach to transfers as scattergun?

11.) 07 Sep 2023
07 Sep 2023 16:16:04
And good advice it is if you want to have a full and frank debate about the club.
In 20 years on the club chatroom I have never had a post deleted nor have I been cautioned by anyone.
Infact I spend a good deal of time defending players and managers who have delivered success for the club.
This is a very different animal with the Eds choosing to censor anything they don't like personally.
That's fair enough they own the site but it isn't an open place to debate the more contentious points about Chelsea which currently isn't the manager or specific players but the new owners approach to running the club.

Maybe posts are deleted by the Ed’s when they contain crap or rubbish. The choice, as you say is the Ed’s. I trust their judgment to censor fairly.

You got what you wanted when we got beat and eventually GP was sacked. So the owners made you happy on that count.

If you now have criticism of the owners and your argument is based on fact and not fiction, I can only suggest you put forward your points.

Oh and yes, we have spent about a billion pounds on transfers over the three windows the owners have been in charge of our club.

13.) 07 Sep 2023
07 Sep 2023 20:20:59
Well I have put plenty of reasoned points that wouldn't have raised any controversy elsewhere but have been censored on here.
And yet you are allowed to make ridiculous claims about me wanting the team to lose.
Show me the statement where I said that or stfu.

I’m sure some clever poster will find your team lose GP sacked post. I wouldn’t have a clue how to search to find that sort of comment from a CFC fan.

I’m sure if you posted a factually accurate post then it it would be allowed on this site.

What you’re suggesting is the Eds censor factual posts. I would find that hard to believe.

“stfu” surely your not suggesting censorship?

I will continue if I stop laughing anytime soon!

I assume stfu is what I think it is.
I was once told the moment you swear in a debate/ argument. You have already lost.
Am with TomB your just laughable. You only turn up on here when our dear team have lost.

Your posts just stink of twitter troll. And in all fairness probably don't even support chelsea.
