Hi ed (ed002) just wondering, not even 100% that we are interested, but if sterling were to refuse any new contracts could he look into buying out his current "low"contract himself (assuming he has over 1 mil saved) and any signing on fee here or at any other club would cover his loss. Don't like looking for options for people who display no loyalty he never did with qpr before Liverpool but I do like being one step ahead of the almost unpredictable transfer market . And at the end of the day he is a London boy missing home in scouseland

{Ed002's Note - I don't understand this £1M. And to be honest, I have no idea what you are talking about.}

Being honest myself ed I'm sure a man (stab in the dark ) of your seemingly major knowledge and experience in the field of transfer dealings would be able decipher that I'm asking if he could buy out his own contract to sign for another club.

But knowing your menstrual like temperament, something posters constantly take into consideration, your probably just being difficult.

Been looking on here for 4 years helps me filter out the lazy journo bull and your head and shoulders above any reason I come on here but I've settled on the ideology that I hate to love you like most posters apart from the ones that use every opportunity they can to proverbially genuflect in your Devine cyber prescience

{Ed002's Note - I am sorry but I simply don't understand what this £1M relates to and why you should think it would be allowable to buy the remainder of his contract at this time - if that is what you are saying. You seems to have dropped in to some bizarre fantasy world - or maybe Owsley's Blue Cheer is kicking in?}

I think he is speaking about a rule which was mentioned on the Liverpool page, I forget its title.

{Ed002's Note - That would be the Webster Ruling. Asking sensibly rather than dribbling makes it easier for me and costs him less in shirts and keyboards.}

I think in a roundabout way he's trying to say he doesn't like the answers you give & basically saying some posters suck up to you, it's quite simple really mate if you don't like the answers then don't ask the questions.

Exactly situation, there is no way around what goes on here or any where else in the world it's called mutual respect, any one on here can testify that Ed answers questions in unbelievable ways taking his time to assemble lists, and information all most in a professional manner and mind you he does it cause he wants to not because he has to. Do the same thing and yield great positive response.

Not directed at you Jimmyfloyd just saying, it's simple if anyone doesn't like the way it is on here then let those who do enjoy it. If for any reason anyone finds me kissing up to the Eds it's not just because I want them to keep posting but mainly cause I appreciate the work and effort they put on here no matter the Ed I would "kiss up" because I respect their hard work and their love for football in general, just like I would any regular poster on here after all we are all blue. Now for rival fans however that might be a little tricky.

Sorry for the long post and if it was a drag it's just I really want to go a summer on here without pilting anyone off not a fellow Chelsea poster and certainly not an Ed. :)

Yeah we could use a full couple of months without drama etc on this site ;-)
Great post, ELI, I couldn't have said it any better!

Alright certainly not knocking you guys who are mindfull of the ed's mood I mean it's probably what keeps this all going in a way. And as I said I love the unlabelled work ed does just saying I'm confident ed knew what I meant with this "Webster ruling" but my not knowing or inability to know the rules name is deemed as dribbling and worthy of displaying complete onbinxiousness. Just saying man I lover this site and just asking a question that seemed logical to me that professional can buy themselves out of a contract but thanks got there in the end ill look up this webster ruling
