With Michael Emenalo leaving the club, do any of the Eds have any idea if Chelsea plan to replace him like for like, or do you think they might restructure slightly?

Opportunity to lean up the process. May work better for the coach knowing there is the 1 person he needs to report to for signings. Interesting times.

I agree with you on Sarri, bearing in mind what is happening with a couple of our former youth coaches, I can believe that we would seriously entertain Sarri. When Conte leaves (this looks extremely likely) I'm sure we can make a wiser choice. I would like to see somebody prepared to give opportunities to RLC, Hudson-Odoi, Ampadu etc. If that means a couple of years without a trophy, then so be it. We need a sustainable future, not just chucking money at it year upon year.

He'd be a good addition and could provide cover in 3 positions. RW, RWB and CM, also only 1 year left on contract.

My first game was circa 1979, I was about 11ish. Chelsea v Wrexham in the old 2nd division, at Stamford Bridge. I went with my neighbour who was a Chelsea fan in his Jag XJS! I think we won 3-1 and as I rememeber Ian Britton scored one. I don't recall loads about it though to be honest!

Absolutely spot on G8. I'm pretty tired of all the negativity, we need to back Frank - he's the right man. It takes time and patience to build a great side. Neither Guardiola or Klopp pulled up any trees in their first seasons.
