I think Maresca deserves great credit for the way he set the side up against Leicester in order to beat their low block, which we did time after time, particuarly in the first half.
It was a very brave move to play Felix left midfield in a diamond, he really worked hard and showed me a different side to his game.
Just as brave was to play Enzo right midfield, particularly so soon after such a long journey home from Argentina.
We stuttered getting the ball out from the back towards the end of the 1st half, maybe tiredness, but overall we did show that we have the players to beat the bus parkers.
Onwards and upwards.

Good summary West. For me, The loss of control toward the end of the first half was down to a break in the smooth rhythm caused by Sanchez being awkwardly caught under the ball from a punt into the box the ball did run out and then he started play with a procession of short nervous by-kicks between him and the CBs. This caused an issue beating the press and b4 you knew it all over the pitch players were slack with little passes out of position and generally rattled. Need I remind you of Kepa? Any time he was involved it was carnage.

I think we all agree our goalkeepers are the weakness Londonscot. I'm hoping Ben Roberts sorts it out with the sporting directors so we can challenge for the title.

Ben Roberts may well be the problem and not the solution: I would be surprised if he wasn’t at least consulted about Sanchez given that he was his coach at Brighton.

I haven’t got a clue who has been involved in our goalkeeping recruitment.
Over the last twenty ish years we have signed some top class keepers and some very average ones alol under different recruitment structures.
