I'm not sure what the likely outcome of this latest City judgement will have on clubs.
Will damages be sought by certain clubs from the premiership?
Can clubs have what amounts to internal sponsorship deals without a "fair value" test?
Could the judgement affect premiership FFP rules?
Can or will the premiership appeal this latest judgement?
I would welcome the thoughts of the Ed's on this subject before I start jumping to all sorts of crazy assumptions.
{Ed001's Note - it is far too soon to tell yet Tom, every club is busy studying this but it is going to make a huge mess.}

Thanks Ed, I can see owners putting up subsidiaries as sponsors and saying it’s worth £100m a season or more. That will then change the FFP/ PSR calculations. As you say, a potential huge mess.
I’ve said before I’m not a fan of the current FFP/ PSR rules. I prefer the owner having to put up a bond that covers all the costs of a club for a fixed period of time.
{Ed001's Note - I prefer your idea.}

Yours is a great idea Tom.

Surely it makes sense that a more balanced approach would be to let owners do their own thing but it will cost them approximately twice as much.
The downside is for some owners money is not a problem but at least it would be a transparent solution.
