It now looks like an absolute certainty the the Premiership will get five automatic places in next season's Champions League.
Apparently we only need one of our teams to win a quarter final to secure that 5th league spot as a qualification.

Yes Bill, the first five will now qualify for the Champions League. I think it could actually be 7 English clubs who could qualify but that is very unlikely.

Not sure how PL could get 7 teams in the CL, certainly not deserved. The PL has been as dull as ditch water. Liverpool are the best of a bad bunch followed by Arsenal who are so so and the rest are average teams who can all beat each other. ?.

Well we apparently can get 7 teams in the Champions League. Albeit unlikely
All of European football must be poor because the premiership has five teams in the quarter finals.
The team that is top of our league and our previous champions got knocked out but the other seem to be doing ok at the moment. Happy days.

I don’t know about other leagues I was speaking of the PL which is effectively a 17 team league as invariably at least 2 of the promoted sides get relegated. I have found the games generally dull and bereft of players who can get fans off their seats without too many teams trying to copy Pep and with a few exceptions a lot of uninspiring coaches.
