I will now get more pelters from some who say I'm pro EM but who cares.

I'm very much old school. So, when I'm at a match I support the team and manager during a game. If we are struggling my personal support becomes louder and more positive.

The manager has asked the supporters, particularly at home games to get behind the team. He did the same post match yesterday. He said something along the lines that when things are difficult the players need the support of the supporters more. He also said that the nervous moans directed at Sanchez may have contributed to us conceding a goal. I personally doubt that was the case but it is an example of how supporters at matches can effect players performance.

For me when it becomes harder for your team or when a result becomes so important, you get behind your team even more.

Being critical of home fans is never a good idea for any manager but in this case I think his points were in the main valid.

Anyone booing the team before or during the game is silly. I think it's acceptable if there's a player that's a POS (a racist or, someone like greenwood) or after the game if the effort was poor. Otherwise booing is silly imo. People used to boo Rafa benitez when he was our manager before, during and after the game because he'd made some comments before joining us. Funnily enough, many of our players had made bad comments about us but they never got booed. Fickle.

Agree with the general sentiment that fans at games have a duty to get behind the team.

Strongly disagree with the sentiment from Maresca that the fans being nervous when Sanchez is faffing around with the ball is why we conceded two goals.

On 26th Feb Maresca said "My message to Filip was if you play a long ball, I will change you". Surely that means that Sanchez should have been subbed?

He's such a sanctimonious dosser.

Everyone’s emotions are different and I believe you pay your money you can have your say. Does it help while the games being played NO but am not going to tell someone to stop expressing there emotions when they want.

That's true nib. I just can't understand why you'd pay money to boo? Surely better to just stay home and invest the money in a charity or something?

I’m sorry but I think booing during a game unacceptable. I guess I could understand the exceptions given by Standard as a way of expressing personal dislike for a players behaviour and just maybe as I think Ed001 mentioned a player
Pulling out of a tackle.

As I’ve said when the club/ team need the e tea man is when supporters step up.

We've been playing uninspring football and getting poor results for a while now. Our last away win in the Premier League was on 8 December. People pay a lot of money to go the games in the hope of seeing a decent performance, so I can understand the booing, maybe not during the match, but certainly afterwards when they continually get the kind of rubbish that was served up yesterday.

Let me make it clear. In my opinion our away fans are some the best and most vocal in the premiership.
