It's being reported tonight that Osimhen has agreed to join Man Utd.
It was a shame for whatever reasoned couldn't agree a deal with the player last summer and for that reason I always considered us signing him this summer as very unlikely.
So, that's one off the list of potential CF signings and I had put Isak and Sesko in front of him on my list anyway.

Isak I'd certainly have wanted but not possible. Sesko stats even in Bundesliga not that impressive so could be a gamble and not in my top 3. Would prefer Gyokores or even Delap though young. May be others I haven't monitored closely enough. Jonathan David perhaps? Delap at least offers physicality and aerial threat and is pretty mobile. Could make a decent pairing with Jackson if we ever played 2 up front.

I’m not sure if we are in a position to compete for top players at present particularly for strikers who are in short supply and needed by many clubs. If we do secure a striker I can’t see us playing two up top except if we were chasing a game. As for Jackson I would play him out wide, he is potentially better there than any of our current wingers.

JBS, the work rate and closing down by Sesko is off the scale. I’m not sure I can remember why but I’m not a massive fan of either Delap or Gyokores but if I had to pick one it would probably be Delap.

Like Delap a bit inexperienced but he is one for the future but we haven't plenty of those players need an experienced striker but I can't remember a time when there are so few decent stikers around Osimhen isn't a top striker in my eyes not sure what experience strikers would be available in the Prem only Isak looks top quality and that is not going to happen, Wood at Forest and Matetta at Palace have had good seasons but neither appeal to me.
Gyokores looked good at Cov haven't seen much of him.
Maybe best to wait, have a total irrational feeling that we will end up with Rashford.

Seymns, Rashford is crap just the profile of player our SDs would go for to join up with Sancho. We’re screwed.

Jimbo I agree on Rashford should be avoided at all costs, like I posted earlier with the exception of Isak and Kane both unrealistic can't see many great forwards out there.
