The togetherness, the hugs, the spirit from the YOUNGEST ever premier league side as they enjoyed the 4th place finish. Well done boys for making us proud and now onto the Betis game. Hands up, I had us 5th at best. So well done all on this page who predicted a top 4 finish! Most of us armchair pundits had us as mid table. Special mention to Neto for that bit of magic to find the assist for the winner, that is what the special players come up with. Big shout out to Sanchez in goal as well, 6 clean sheets since February is a huge contribution and finally the gaffer, thankyou for getting us over the line mate, you did it last season at Leicester and now you have done it for us. A big JD for you Enzo (and you Tom B, this pages biggest contributor, out in Spain, and of course our wonderful ED's) . Now onto Wednesday. Come on you blues.

I must be trueful i was not happy watching this game and I was scared but I can be happy with the 1-0 victory every1 who said the owner of Todd and I think it was Ugbali was wrong I think they are trueful fans of the team and was right with transfers that was made. Any1 who was said this team are bad are wrong and the team showed it today with a good victory. Thanks.

Just as aside, maybe the finishing positions of this premiership season aren’t over just yet.
We could still get a verdict and a penalty judgement against City.

Tom predicted possibility of 3rd RPD. But when all said and don it came down to the last match when we could have finished anywahere between 3rd and 7th and apart from City - and Forest who put up reasonable battle against us and cWoods could have scored a couple - Villa and Newcastle imploded in way that few had foreseen.
In otther words football can be a game of small margins and chance/ luck/ what happens to rivals plays a part.
Yet having said that I think that qe played with a spirit and resolve yesterday that would have got us 5th at least and for that the players, Maresca and the whole support team and squad deserve enormous credit very very happily given by me and all other CFC supposrters right now I'd think or hope!

JBS, you are spot on football is about small margins. I don’t think we have played particularly well in the last six games but we got results.
I also think we generally played better in the premiership during our 10/ 12 game sticky period and the players and manager got pelters. because we didn’t get the results.
The best team wins the league but there can be also elements of luck that can help. Injuries and suspensions at key times and against your main rivals is just one small fact hat doesn’t always level out through a season in my experience.
