No I don't kno why all u think that we are going to have a big sale summer i think we go back again with the same player because we haven't seen reports at any saying that other clubs want the players at our club but that's OK because we have stronger side than last with improvement all around other than goalkeeper but sanchez is very good.

I believe the second transfer window officially opens next Tuesday. My guess is we then have about two months to buy and sell players. Plenty of time!
I may well be wrong but I think that the 1st July also signals the start of a new financial/ PSR term.

The transfer window re-opened on the 16th June but as Tom said won’t be much action until end of PSR financial year on 30th June. Mind you Liverpool haven’t been hanging around.

Jimbo, thanks for the clarification. I agree I can’t see much happening until the new financial/ PSR term. My guess would be that a lot are already agreed and just waiting for that date.
As I’ve said many times, the scousers have been busy and for me they have signed a future star in Wirtz.

Tom, yes I believe Wirtz is a great signing. As to PSR I have read many different reports that we have the highest PSR ceiling probably as a result of our jiggers pokery about the hotel and women’s team sale: who cares. We have made some dosh in the Club World Cup and obviously will do in the Champions League. Now we need a top sponsorship deal after all this faffing around . I just hope we don’t waste the money on misfits. Apparently, the Gittens’s deal is almost done, I would like another top class CB and goalkeeper. I would also like to see a lot of outgoings.

I assume that the Gittens deal will get done over the next few days.
I have said for ages that about 15 players could be leaving sold or loaned in this window. I still think that will be about the right number.

Bill, I think the manager would like a first team squad of about 25 players plus the ability to call upon some talented academy player for the domestic cups.
We have loan players who need to find clubs as well as some first team squad players who would prefer to be playing at clubs with more playing time.

You are only allowed to register a maximum of 25 players in the PL, players under 21 do not count. So Maresca has got his wish.
