3 years into our new ownership and what are we all thinking of Blueco.?
£839 million NETT has been spent on a total squad re-build.
We are back in the Champions League.
We have started winning trophies again, the serial winners continue to do what we do best.
We have just won the Club World Cup and probably added many more millions to our estimated 139 million world wide fans.
The Ladies team continues to totally dominate the womens game in this country.
The academy continues to produce the best young prospects with a high number making debuts last season in the first team.
The ground development still needs to be sorted, looks like a move to Earls Court if anything can be agreed with the site owners or a rebuild of Stamford Bridge? (this dates back many years) .
Fines picked up from the powers to be for overspending but a plan appears to have been agreed with said powers to be to get back on track.
Ownership might be split on direction we go with Todd not interested at all in player trading and Clearlake in the opposite corner enjoying trading. Most Chelsea fans I speak to would prefer a Todd takeover as he seems far more invested in Chelsea as a club as opposed to Clearlake who are cut throat business people.

RPD, I am reasonably happy with the new owners they have made mistakes but no one can say they haven’t invested in the club. As for SB redevelopment, that was always going to be a huge problem not of their making. At the time I believed they were the best option and I still do.

RPD, your use of the Nett spend figure is interesting. Strangely Sky sports continually mention our gross spend but when it came to the Liverpool investments they were at pains to emphasise there Nett spend. I personally don’t care what number they use but it would be nice for them to be consistent.
I have my usual gripes with our current owners. One of my gripes is something they inherited and that’s allowing the away supporters in the Shed End. I am also not happy with the cheaper ST seats percentage increase. The SB development is a long and ongoing saga. We have been promised site of a report this summer, let’s wait and see what that says. I’m not happy with our latest fine and it’s possible effects in a Champions League squad.
My biggest criticism is there lack of communication/ messaging. I had hoped they might re-introduce CTV but that hasn’t happened. The current website is bland and lacks current content and the only messages we get from the FAB can only be described as “neutral” at best.
I was all for the change of squad and I’m happy generally with the job the SD’s have done in putting forward young talented players.
I do think they moved to quickly to massive change early on in there ownership. They should have given themselves more time to evaluate the situation and put in place a football structure. Instead they decided to make what I considered to be “statement” signings.

You are 100% correct Tom when you mention the bias reporting of sly sports, I also think the BBC and talk rubbish are just as bad. Danny Murphy and Spitty Carragher have a real hatred towards us as a club but to borrow the Millwall song "nobody likes us but we don't care" it means we are getting under their skin. ?.

I can't stand Danny Murphy, was a nobody when he was a player, term used very loosely.
