I love football banter. One of the gifts of life is having a group of friends you have known all your life. Unfortunately, they are mainly Spurs and Man U supporters. I kindly send a WhatsApp message congratulating Spurs and Man U for strengthening their squads and said it will be a tight race for 12th place. For some reason they have taken it badly and I have had some negative responses. Blimey, you try to be nice to people and what to you get for it. ?.

Tom, too right. I remember the grief I used to get in the 80s and early 90s. That 4 nil loss in the Cup final to Man U was crushing .

I think the banter is pretty good on here Jimbo, different opinions and a lot of rubbish spoken but all good fun. My Arsenal mates (2 of them) are total bell ends when they talk football, same old boring bull spouted about how they are going to win this and that but they win feck all and refuse to accept we are big time winners. Makes me laugh my socks off.

Greenaway, Arsenal, they celebrate coming second three years in a row and count Community Shields as trophies. True we have dipped a bit but two trophies that are not won in a one off friendly at Wembley this season and they suggest that they are the biggest club in London! ! Noni is showing his true colours and it proves my point that he has no football intelligence if he thinks Arsenal are a bigger club than Chelsea. My Mind you, he would say that wouldn’t he. I don’t recall a petition by Chelsea supporters complaining about him being sold.

I certainly don’t recall us ever having an anti signing petition. Maybe it’s just the world we live in.
Mainly because I’m old, so I have lots of mates who support “many” clubs including the gooners. If you ask them all about the manager they dislike the most it would be Arteta. Historically Klopp would have got a few votes.
His antics in the sideline just show him up for what he is.
