Shim Mheuka is scoring goals for fun at both under 21 level for us and under 19 level for England, the question I pose is do we integrate him straight into the first team now, give him minutes and take the chance that he will develop into an exceptional talent or run the risk that he leaves with so many other clubs wanting him?

That is a good point Tom and you may well be right. Let him develop at our sister club and then come back if and when he is ready. That is where club multi-ownership can really work.

I think the lad from Kazakhstan is destined for Strasbourg, I’d be very much in favour of a Championship loan for Mheuka.
