For me, Joao Pedro is now bordering on being right up there with the best strikers in the world, he has everything, can drop deep and make the play, has incredible skill, can finish, and also has a bit about him as well.
Well on course to be our first striker since Diego Costa to bag 20-plus goals in a season. That position can be chalked off the list now.

Completely agree. He's been wonderful and is a very selfless player. It's a small thing, but I've massively appreciated him giving the ball up to Palmer or Fernandez when he wins a penalty.
I remember, a couple of years ago, the lads were scuffling over who could take the pen, but it looks like there is a real togetherness now. And J. Pedro has had a quality season.

Standard, before his Chelsea move, Joao Pedro was largely operating behind the scenes for the Selecao and was competing with a long list of attacking talents, but his performances in the Premier League for us have pushed him from an outsider to a key figure in Brazil's attack.
King Carlo Ancelotti clearly believes in him, and he is repaying that faith with goals, confidence, and leadership in the final third.
We now have a striker hitting the peak of his career and becoming one of the best attackers in world football.
