Chelsea U21s are League Champions.
Chelsea U18s are League Champions.
Chelsea U16s are League Champions.
Our academy is in a fantastic place and well done to all the players, coaches and staff for their success.
Foundations are firmly in place.

Greenaway
Unless the owners /SD's change their way of thinking, it means nothing for the first team. That being said, well done to the youngsters throughout the academy levels, and also to the coaches.

Greenaway, that is good news. Sadly, the majority of these lads will not make first team, but a lot more of them will have good football careers. Hopefully, we continue to be a good place for young lads to learn their trade.

The foundations and building blocks are in place, Bill. The guys running the academy are delivering a conveyor belt of talent, and we are a huge draw for young talents.

Great achievement, and congratulations to all involved with this success.
Just a note: I think the Under21s (league play-offs, though they are top seeds, having won 14 out of 20 games) and Under 18s (regional play-offs) still have play-offs to come, of course.

I would add that I had hoped, over the years, that the club policy would be to bring through young players from the Academy on a regular basis. We have done that quite often, but perhaps not often enough, and it is more of a gamble to recruit youngsters who come from other countries, though an exception surely should be made for exceptional talent like Estevao - and, if we did that, we could then invest in already established, high-class players over the age of 23!
Anyway, this success of our Academy teams at all these levels surely suggests that quite a few should be coming through in the next few seasons, and let's just hope we can keep the best of them, even if, obviously, there will be sales as well.
