Morgan Rogers is a very good player, strong, direct, a ball carrier, plays off the left, a huge upgrade on what we currently have. Very pleased with this signing and just the type of player to fit into an Alonso system. He is also best mates with Cole Palmer and I like that connection very much.
Rogers and Palmer as our number 10's backed up by Estevao. I thought he was Arsenal's main transfer target this summer, so just goes to show that when the only side to have one it all, the only London side to have won the Champions League come calling, players want the mighty Chelsea FC over Woolwich WWE.

If indeed he was our target, we tend to keep most of the stuff we do under wraps in the transfer window.

If true, I'm well pleased and very surprised.
I personally don't see this signing, if it happens, meaning Fernandez is leaving. If we sign the Palace ch, I will see this as a very good window.

Anyway ED014, you already have an out and out winger in Arteta who is so far out of his technical area, he could take your throw one's and corners.

The banter between my Chelsea and Arsenal mates today has been brilliant. All the usual crap, with not a lot of facts being used, but it was very funny.
The Gooners getting Rice was mentioned a few times, but the stuff about Arteta talking to Rogers and it clinching the deal for Chelsea was very amusing.
I still don't think the deal will happen, but I live in hope!!

Chelsea have agreed a record £117m deal with Aston Villa for Morgan Rogers.
A move to Chelsea is set to come after Arsenal made Rogers their top forward target this summer, and a Gunners approach to Villa was expected after the World Cup had finished.
