Does anyone on here or any of the ED's understand this UEFA 45 day rule?
{Ed001's Note - basically it just means that if 2 players move in opposite ways between the same 2 clubs within 45 days of each other, UEFA will count them in their SCR regs as a player swap, rather than as 2 separate deals.}

It's an absolute stupid rule.
If Club A buys a player from Club B towards the end of the window, Club B panic, and go back to Club A for a player, then it's a swap deal, whereas if the transaction is done earlier in the window, Club B can wait 45 days, then the deals become separate deals and purchases.
The governing bodies are moving further and further away from football, and concentrating more on money.

Why have a rule that is so easy to navigate around. Surely they must have realised the likely outcomes.
Clubs must spend ages trying to find ways around supposed rules. Or, maybe the clubs should just completely abide by the rules.

Tom, I think that people who come up with stupid rules are too thick to spot how people might get around them.
