I made my views clear on big Trev leaving in a previous post.
His message to the club and fans he played for and supported as a kid comes across as very sincere. Also, the thank you message from the club (I will avoid the obvious) was very good as well.

Tom, Trev was never quite good enough, but a brilliant human being, so polite, and his values matched the standards I hope Alonso sets.

He stood out last season for me as among the most consistent. Yes, he may not be the most technically gifted and made some mistakes, but over the season he was the best of our CBs in the absence of LC. Commitment to the CFC cause was never in doubt. Wish him all the best.
