If Jackson is going Villa as is being reported and for it not to be considered a "swap" deal, I assume we completed the Roges deal on the 20th or maybe 21st July?

If he is going, Tom, I'm not really bothered, to be honest.

I am bothered because I would rather we didn't sell him, but it looks like he is being sold.

Tom
I would also like to keep him, but if he is going, that is the reason I said im not bothered.
Neither you nor Borci have control over who we buy or sell.

Bill, I would like to think the board have slightly more control than us fans over transfers, but what I do know is they will never make all fans happy.
My guess is we are the minority who would have liked Jackson to stay.

You could be right, Tom.

I like being in the minority. However, it is clear he is not in Alonso's plans and is better for him to move on and get game time.

I would have liked Jackson to stay, and the fact that Emegha is highly injury prone, and Welbeck a veteran often only put on from the bench by Brighton late in a game, are my reasoning. Given Osimhen and Alvarez not coming, to rely on Pedro staying fit is a gamble with the striker position again, imho, as is keeping Sanchez as our number 1 without an EPL or top 3 other European league experienced replacement.
