Hi Ed, apologies if this is an recycled question, but what do you see happening with olise? it sounds as though they are unhappy with chelseas approach?

Many Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - Michael Olise (W/AM) PSG and Manchester City want him as cover. Crystal Palace has no interest in selling but know that Chelsea want to take Olise back to Stamford Brige to reunite him with his brother. Down the list of players Chelsea want but they are struggling to obtatain preferred options and need a replacement for Ziyech. Crystal Palace are concerned that a third-party representing the player may have shared privileged information over the terms of a release clause to both Manchester City and Chelsea - and they have shared their concern with both clubs. Crystal Palace have identified his replacement.}

Thankyou! As soon as i posted this i went onto reddit to see that he just signed a new contract haha! thankyou anyway. Would this mean we turn to Kudus as he was previously of interest or has that ship sailed also? Many thanks.

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea has a number of options.}

If the player would prefer playing for another club then good luck to the lad.

Is it kind of the club "tapping up" the player?

{Ed002's Note - No.}

Ed is Barcola higher up the list of options?

{Ed002's Note - No.}

Ed002 could we look at Jonathan david as striker option and Nkunku role seeing as he got that inury and we want a player in them roles?

{Ed002's Note - That is not the plan.}

Ed002 could we look to go for Kolo Muani?

{Ed002's Note - Randal Kolo Muani (S/F) Eintracht Frankfurt have said they rejected an approach from Spurs for the player they only signed last summer. Representatives are trying to set up a deal with Bayern Munich but it is being suggested that if EF were to sell they could look for as much as €100M - which they won't pay as they concentrate on Kane. Offered to Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Milan by his representatives who see a potentially huge payment to themselves in addition to any fee for Eintracht Frankfurt. Having a good season and did well at Nantes although Germany is a step up. High risk at that price but Bayern Munich may offer a creative solution including a loan player as part of a deal. Don't discount PSG or Spurs who will need a Kane replacement and Spurs will have him as first choice. Manchester United showed encouraging signs but they will not be looking to meet the costs that would be demanded - so he is off the table with Hojlund added.}

Ed002 are we going to try and get Kudus? Or is he going to West Ham?

{Ed002's Note - Mohammed Kudus (AM) Everton were told by Ajax that he was not for sale last summer but interest may remain although the club have no chance of signing him. Ajax still don't particularly want to sell and would no doubt look for well over the odds if any offers were made. Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund have a declared interest although I suspect Manchester United will concentrate on another player now and I expect BD to hang on to Marco Reus until the end of his contract next year. Eric ten Hag knows the player but he would be an eventual Bruno Fernandes replacement if the club were to look at him. Barcelona interest has likely gone. Seen as an option to Tielemans by Arsenal and I expected Arsenal to prioritise Kudus which may suit the player, but they have another priority to deal with first. Down the list of Mason Mount replacements for Chelsea - they have preferred options but are struggling to agree a replacement - but I suspect their focus remains elsewhere on another target or two first. A player watched by Brighton, West Ham Liverpool and Borussia Moenchengladbach with Brighton looking to him as a Mac Allister replacement - and pushing hard to get the player to agree a move after agreeing a €40M fee with Ajax - the issue is the demands of the player. West Ham fall in to the same category where they will agree to the demands of Ajax but perhaps not the player, so there is work to be done. As a wildcard Newcastle interest has gone. Ajax have identified a suitable replacement.}

{Ed002's Note - There are a number of other targets.}
