1. Aguero, I remember us being heavily linked when he was at Athletico Madrid. Incredible player
2. Drinkwater, expensive, no re sell value and just a completely uninspiring signing and player.
3. Hulk, never really saw anything in him and I’ve mainly put him in because we were linked every window for about 6 years!

Nice exercise! Some good picks already, so think I will go back a bit in time for some of mine.

1)Matt Le Tissier, incredible skills and goals scored. we bid for him in mid-1990s
2)Robert Fleck. striker and our record signing in early 1990s, had done so well for Norwich but flopped with us scoring all of 3 goals
3)Robinho. record UK signing at the time of c £32 million who went to City. between us and them on deadline day. After ok start he proved an expensive flop for City not us.

Good picks JBS. I remember we all thought Le Tissier would end up at Chelsea and it never happened just like Declan Rice won’t.

Sadly you might well be right about Rice Jimbo. Veron was a good pick, so disappointing after excitement of goal he scored v LFC on debut!
