Madrid would like wait for another year until his contract runs down but know that PSG have a plan to renew, give him a lump sum signing on fee and have an obligation to sell next summer - that may suit everybody. Newcastle would not be in a position to buy him. Realistically, Madrid, Middle East, Manchester United, perhaps Bayern and Chelsea if they could clear significant wages from the books. Chelsea could look to striking a deal including players. Bayern Munich will likely not get involved. }.

Lol absolutely no chance we get Mbappe, don’t doubt we could find a way to make a deal plausible but in no way would he want to come here.

No chance surely of KM going to a club with no Champion's League football. If particularly because we have few players left now - esp. after Mount, Kovacic and Havetz departures - that PSG would want in part exchange (and that we would want to go) .

Mbappe, never say never, but any player, given the option would want to sign for RM. I think he will end up there, either this year or next.
This is where Chelsea are being very smart imo, Caicedo ultimately wants RM (who don't want him at this time) but although the purchase price is high ( he will be motivated to prove himself) the sell on to RM in a couple of years when he has hopefully excelled for us will be huge (ala Hazard) whilst those 2 years will have allowed us to "blood" a new player to fill the same role at a significantly cheaper purchase price.
We unfortunately missed out on Ugarte (due to timing/ or his preference) who would have been good, but Caseido is easily, at 20m more a better/ PL proven fit, with a better sell on value.
Vlahovic, if we can get him at around 70m will be amazing under MP I feel, Harry Kane mk2 but 6 years younger.
I'm liking where the club is heading!
