Oh no, scrap everything I said about poch, he just said to build a squad takes 3-5 years,

Nah, his spurs mentality has taken over, look at the improvement of villa spurs Bournemouth and wolves under there manger this season and back of last, not a chance 3-5 years.

Matt, I bet he didn’t say that when he was interviewed- he is talking himself out of a job. Frankly, his post match comments are becoming more ludicrous by the week.

Putting aside the ability of Poch as a manager out of interest how long did it take the managers of this seasons top three teams take to be successful?

Also, I seem to remember Poch only signed a two year contract but I’m probably wrong.

We just can't go changing after every bad result give him next season and see where we stand, this team/ squad will get better, to be honest this season is roughly where I expected us to be.

Exactly seymns who thought our bunch of youngsters in squad almost completely stripped of experience if particilarly once James and Chilwell injured and Silva in decline would do. much better?!

Seymns, our premiership position is slightly below my expectations at the moment but the season isn’t over yet.

We have been creating lot of chances but the sad thing is that didn’t happen yesterday.

I would also say that our organisation in the majority of games and passive approach in a certain games has been something that should have been sorted by this stage of the season.

A few things do worry me about Poch, I thought more changes should of be made for yesterdays match, and his in game management leaves a bit to be desired having said that I think we will end up 6 7 or 8th The top 3 are in a different class to everyone else but I would expect a Champions League place next season.

Seymns, a lot will depend on who we sign in the window but we will not be the only club improving there squad for next season. Unfortunately our opponents are not going to wait for us to catch up.

I think the spuds will challenge for the title next season if there strengthen the depth of there squad and I assume Villa will invest considerably.

The Klopp missing factor will be interesting and I think City will be very active in the next transfer window.

I personally think we will be above both Spurs and Villa next season Villa i think are overperforming at the moment

Liverpool will be interesting without Klopp

City as usual will be hard to stop Newcastle and Man UTD will surely invest.

I’m not even sure if and when the new proposed “luxury tax” rules would come into play.

I agree Seymns, give him one transfer window to clear out the players he wants rid of and give him a budget to bring some people in. If he doesn't finish top 4 next season he deserves to be out a job.

There’s nothing manager available who is head and shoulders above poch so I don’t see the need to
Change, but, we need more, can’t keep talking about young inexperienced squad when he plays same 14-15 players every game, he seemed flat, the whole team didn’t seem up for that at all. And a tough game coming midweek.

Matt, to a certain extent any rotation/ changes Poch could have made has been slightly stymied by injuries.

It won’t be up to Poch to clear out players: it’s not his job he may give input but that’s all. I wouldn’t get too excited about incomings, it’s unlikely we will attract top players with no CL again. The first issue is to make a decision about Poch. I wouldn’t give Poch my school lunch money never mind a transfer budget.

I’m pretty sure the club will not be giving Poch a “transfer budget. ”

If he is staying I’m sure he will have some sort of input into sales and signings but probably not a casting vote.

Tom, I am aware that Poch won’t be given a transfer budget, someone else suggested he should be. The point I was making was that I wouldn’t trust him if he was allowed to have a big input on incomings.

I’m not sure he has had anything but a very limited input so far in any of our current signings and my guess is your wish of only having limited input going forward is probably a given.

I’m not sure any criticism of Poch should be about any of our current signings.
