Wesley Fofana has suffered an ACL injury that requiredls surgery.
Likely out for the season.

Sad news Drog, Wes can’t catch a break from injuries at the moment, I wonder if that forces us into the CB market and who would we even target?

I am more than confident that Trev will make a great replacement if no one can be identified.

We are well served at LCB with Levi and BB when he gets over his hamstring injury, our problem is at RCB. Tiago Silva is by some way the best, meaning Trevor, who wants more game time should be sold. Humphries, who did well in limited appearances last season would be a good back up to Silva, remembering we have only one game a week this coming season.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Levi and Badiashile (both left footed I know) anchoring our central defence at some stage this season.
Most clubs have have made do with right footed CB's operating together, so why not the opposite?

Goodness me ??? why'd we buy a very injury prone and poor CB for 70 million mate. Even ed1 says he's poor.

Tc is better than fofana imo. so instead of replacing fofana he should play ahead of him. only needs a run of games with experience head to show his qualities.
Fofana is injury- prone and will likely be shuttling between the pitch and treatment room.
So that is the reason we need even a better and experienced defender to come and adapt to finally replace ts . Like the Ed said we overpaid for fofana as he's not the level for what was paid for him. On hindsight tt may actually not as good based on his signings before he was sacked.
