Reckon Havertz's next move won't be sorted for a while since Leverkusen are still chasing top 4 atm and maybe he won't want that distraction. Personally think Bayern will be the likeliest destination but i like that we're attempting to get him. I know some people are contemplating whether or not he's needed but when a player like Havertz is available and very few teams can afford him but you're one that can, you simply shouldn't be passing up that opportunity.

Certainly would be. To be fair, I think the same could be said of how much we may spend on Werner and Ziyech.

Agreed, I know some would think we don’t need him I beg to differ. Barkley is likely to go, unfortunately RLC is injury prone, Mount isn’t going to play 50 odd games, CHO needs to get his head back in the game and Jorginho might leave . Young Billy Gilmour, would still get minutes here and there as he continues to be integrated.
Harvertz is versatile still very young and if we get he and Werner I think we would have one of the most youngest talented teams ever assembled. That said I do agree, let’s not get carried away.

I agree Havertz is too good, too versatile, to not sign if it's possible. It's interesting that young Anjorin has just signed a new contract.
I'm sure the club would have set out a long term plan for him during contract talks, there was a lot of interest from elsewhere. But, he's already looking at Mount and Loftus-Cheek ahead of him, Gallagher out having a great year on loan and then a player like Havertz potentially signing.
With Gilmour slightly deeper too, the potential of our midfield, with or without Havertz, is unbelievable. Up to the coaching staff to develop that potential now, whilst bringing in the likes of Havertz.
