I must admit I'm not really clear on the role someone like Havertz would play at Chelsea? Or, rather, we have players currently in his position in Mount and Barkley, or am I getting confused about where he can play?

hed certainly be ahead of barkley judging by the raving reviews he's been getting, ed mentioned chelsea would listen to offers for barkley to be sold although they aren't actively pushing a sale.

We will play 2 defensive midfeilders mainly kante and Kovacic, and havertz would be CAM with mount either wing or being back up to havertz.

I think we are getting ahead of ourselves. It feels like the Paul pogba saga . we have not even sealed the deal for Timo . Kai would be amazing but will wait till ed002 confirms.

Welll i agree dareryk, I too would wait for solid info from Ed but I think most of the fan base is excited mostly because the club have identified their primary targets for Nd made a move early on, which would give the players time to gel together during pre season. In the recent past we have left our transfers go down to the wire which has caused us to over pay and go for players that were way down on our list.
I for one I’m happy about the initiative shown and I’m patiently waiting for the Werner confirmation before I can begin to process the Harvertz move all in all I think there is a lot to be positive about as a blue.
